Dear Baylor Family,
In the Fall of 2007 it was my great honor to return to my alma-mater to become University Chaplain and Dean for Spiritual Life. It was a ministry I believe I was being prepared for over three decades, having served as a student minister, a counselor, and a pastor. I joined the staff here at Baylor in a very exciting chapter of our long story. Our vision, opportunity, and calling are unique and daily I am blessed to be a part of what is taking place in our beloved university.
As University Chaplain my role involves nurturing the depth of faith, spiritual wholeness, and missional life with all in our community but I’m especially thankful for the opportunity to do so in the lives of our students. You’ll see here on our web page, all the ways in which the staff of Spiritual Life join me in this work. I hope you’ll find here ways of connecting with our ministry and that you’ll also make your way to the Bobo Spiritual Life Center, where our coffee is free, our couches are comfortable, and the conversations life changing.
God's peace,
Burt Burleson
