Ash Wednesday Services & Imposition

Elliston Chapel, Fountain Mall, & the Bobo Spiritual Life Center | March 5 | 8:30 AM – 4 PM
Begin the season of Lent with Ash Wednesday services at Elliston Chapel at 8:30 AM and 12 PM. Additionally, ministers from the Office of Spiritual Life will be imposing ashes at Elliston Chapel, Fountain Mall, and the Bobo Spiritual Life Center from 9 AM – 4 PM.

Stations of the Cross Self-Guided Reflection

Elliston Chapel | April 13 – 18 | 11 AM – 2 PM
The Office of Spiritual Life invites you to pray through the 8 scriptural stations of the cross, instituted by Pope John Paul II, in our self-guided reflection. Elliston Chapel will be open from 11 AM – 2 PM starting on Palm Sunday (April 13) until Good Friday (April 18).
The Body of Christ: The Physiology of the Passion and Crucifixion

Fudge Family Auditorium in the Hurd Welcome Center | April 14 | 5:15 PM – 7 PM
This presentation, hosted by Baylor University's Honors College, will provide a deep dive into the physiology of hematohidrosis (sweating blood), as well as an examination of scourging and crucifixion as performed by the Roman Empire. Included will be a detailed examination of the physiology of Christ’s suffering and death during His crucifixion. This event is free and open to the public.

Attend Truett Chapel the week of Easter to hear a special sermon from Tish Harrison Warren, author and Anglican priest, as she reflects on the fidelity and centrality of female followers of Jesus during Holy Week. You are welcome to join in person or watch the live stream.
