Tyler Conway
Assistant Director for Pastoral Care

Tyler Conway has been on staff at Baylor Spiritual Life since 2019, and currently serves as the Assistant Director for Pastoral Care. His work involves providing spiritual care and support to students, staff, and faculty while overseeing the Resident Chaplain Program. Before serving at Baylor University, Tyler worked as a hospital chaplain at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest and went on to complete his residency at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, TX. He has also served as a hospital chaplain for McLane Children’s as well as BS&W Marble Falls. Tyler has five completed units of Clinical Pastoral Education and six years of hospital chaplain experience. His passion is to teach and train chaplains on Baylor’s campus, bringing together his hospital experience with Student Life. Additional passions include, reading, writing, leather working, biking, and other recreational activities.
He earned his master’s degree from Truett Seminary with a concentration in theology, and his bachelor's degree from Oklahoma Baptist University, double majoring in Philosophy and Biblical Studies.
